CONCERT WITH LANDERMASON

support from Megan Wisdom and Chris Fox

Fiona Lander and Paul Mason collectively known as 'Landermason' have been writing, recording and performing together since 2000. Multi instrumentalist Fiona (vocals, piano, whistles, saxes, clarinet and recorder) and Paul (guitars and vocals) have developed a unique sound which displays their undoubted talents. They combine both traditional and contemporary folk with jazz and other styles in their beautiful and striking arrangements.
Landermason have recorded and produced several CD's to date on their own label LAMA Records. Tracks from their most recent albums 'The Reason' and 'Angel of the North' have gained national airplay on BBC Radio 2 and 3 as well as on many other radio shows across the network.

The LIVE sound is impressive, full of variety and with plenty of audience interaction. Often described as 'refreshingly different', Landermason are equally at home entertaining audiences in folk and acoustic music clubs, theatres, festivals, village halls and pubs and are proud to have performed at some of the UK's best known live music venues.

Well known at St Neots Club they are a superb choice for our Sunday Concert - not to be missed!

Megan Wisdom – an acapella singer from East Anglia, Megan has a super voice and a wide repertoire. One of 15 entrants to the New Roots folk event in St Albans – Megan impressed us with her performance as an up and coming Folk performer. She also dances with ‘Pretty Grim’ Morris side.

Chris Fox is a professional musician living and working in Cambridge. Singer songwriter, guitarist, performer and session musician, Chris has been fully pro since May of 2016 when he left the corporate world behind to pursue a career in music.

His musical influences range eclectically from traditional folk, the blues, soul, country and roots. His song writing style is centred around stories he hears about people and their experiences. After releasing his debut album Parallel crossing in May 2016 he has been touring in his local region ever since.

Tickets: £10.00

“One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. If you get a chance to see them – don’t miss it – they are brilliant” Mike Harding, BBC Radio 2
