St Neots Folk Club held their annual folk festival on the weekend of 5th and 6th June 2026.
The event comprised evening concerts on Friday and Saturday at the United Reformed Church and a day of dance on Saturday at various venues across St Neots town centre.
The Friday night concert presented; our very own ‘The Copperburg Boys’ offering a diverse repertoire of traditional folk, Americana and own material.
They were followed by ‘Ragged Staff’, local folk band with an extensive repertoire of traditional and own material.
Saturday’s day of dance commenced with rain, but soon dried to sunshine offering opportunities for the colourful Morris Dance Sides to participate at various locations on the Market Square and around the town centre.
Sides represented were; Chiltern Hundreds, Golden Hare, Granta Blue, Ouse Washes Molly and Fenstanton Morris.

Saturday nights headline concert presented Liz Simcock, singer songwriter, who opened the event with a solo performance of her own material. She was followed by the unique sound of Ranagri, a four piece, Irish folk band leading to an enchanting evening of music that left everyone buzzing.
A wonderful occasion that saw St Neots coming alive with the tradition that it is steeped in. A big thanks is extended to all who took part, participants and spectators including local businesses and St Neots Town Council for their support.
St Neots Folk Club currently meet in The Eatons, (behind CO-OP) in Eaton Socon on a Tuesday evening, Doors 7.00 with live performance from 7.30 to 9.45pm.
